We have seen ICE separating families at the border to deter migrants from entering the United States while actively contributing to the mass and often indefinite detention of migrants within our borders. For this reason, any collaboration with or support of this agency at this time would be unethical and immoral. NUSL has touted itself as a global institution whose values are grounded in global justice and human rights. Providing support to the agency by offering NUSL students as potential interns through the collecting co-op service is not a policy grounded in global justice.
