Real Ceasefire Now! <b/> Body: Friend, I signed a petition on Action Network stating that Vancouver Granville Demands a Stop to Genocide in Gaza! Real Ceasefire Now! We continue to witness, in horror and disbelief, Israel’s indiscriminate bombings, assaults, and use of forced starvation against over 2 million besieged Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip with unconditional support from the Canadian government. Israel has murdered over 36,000 Palestinians, including over 14,000 children and 8,000 women, injured over 70,000 civilians, destroyed the entire civilian infrastructure in Gaza including hospitals, and displaced over 2 million civilians under bombardment, blocking their access to water, food, and medical aid since October 2023. There is a strong and growing movement in the Vancouver-Granville neighborhood calling on our MP, Taleeb Noormohamed, to demand an end to the complicity of the Canadian government in Israel’s crimes.
