HPAE LOCAL 5094 PETITION IN SUPPORT OF BARGAINING

	<thumbnail_url>https://actionnetwork.org//images/generic_facebook.jpg</thumbnail_url>

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED MEMBERS, STAND UNITED IN SUPPORT OF A STRONG CONTRACT AND CALL ON RUTGERS TO BARGAIN IN GOOD FAITH. Our bargaining team has put forward proposals that reflect the needs and priorities of our membership. Rutgers has responded to the few proposals it has addressed with outright rejection or counterproposals that would diminish our contract and take away long-earned protections. We deserve respect and dignity. We are fighting for: Fair WagesJob SecurityImproved layoff protectionsUniversal Respect Paid Parental LeaveProtection from all future mergers (i.e. Barnabas and Med Schools)Vacation and parking equity with Legacy RUPayment for advanced degrees and certificatesWe call on Rutgers to bargain in good faith, engage seriously with our proposals, and reach a fair contract that recognizes the value and dignity of every member’s work. We, as 5094 members, stand together in the fight for a strong contract and support our bargaining team at the table.
