And the responsibility for this lies squarely with Party Chairman Jay Jacobs. This is the same Jay Jacobs who supported the disgraced ex-Governor Cuomo, who botched the passage of pro voter constitutional amendments, who sought to destroy the WFP, tried to cancel the 2020 presidential primary, refused to support the Democratic primary winner for Buffalo Mayor AND supported the IDC’s alliance with Republicans to control the state senate. It is long past time to reform the NY State Democratic Party. But we must begin with the leadership. Only then can we forge ahead together.
