We’re calling on the Colorado General Assembly and Governor Polis to: 1. Stop background checks for non-employment opportunities from requiring a Social Security Number 2. Create clear, standardized ways for people to verify their identity without a Social Security Number by using name-based or fingerprint-based background checks Colorado is stronger when everyone has a fair chance to participate.
