We say no stealing from immigrant workers allowed. No harassing women workers allowed. No telling black workers "last hired, first fired." No retaliating against any worker for asserting their rights. The city of New Haven controls business licensing yet this disrespect is allowed to continue. We demand that the Board of Alders and the Mayor pass and sign a law conditioning city licensing on lawful labor and employment practices.
