We propose that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nyack set a motion to adopt a Ceasefire Resolution, aligning our community with 75 cities across the United States that have already taken a stand for peace. This resolution serves as a crucial step towards urging all parties involved to prioritize dialogue over violence, paving the way for a sustainable and just resolution to the conflict. By joining this nationwide movement, we demonstrate our commitment to peace, human rights, and the well-being of all individuals affected by the genocide in Gaza.
