The Kingsbridge Armory, located in the Northwest Bronx, is the size of three football fields and has been empty since 1996. We must open and use it now to help New Yorkers in need! New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio must immediately open the Kingsbridge Armory to the public and provide the following community controlled resources: 1. An public hospital with universal healthcare; 2. Housing for the homeless, prioritizing disabled people, the elderly, Trans people, incarcerated & detained people, survivors of domestic violence, mentally ill people, and those suffering from asthma living in apartments with mold and pests; 3. A public mental health center with universal healthcare; 4. A public food garden; 5.
