President Trump has declared the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) a national emergency. As young people, part of the largest generation in the history of our country, there’s something each of us can do to help. We can avoid being exposed to this virus and spreading it. To protect vulnerable populations: our grandparents, professors, neighbors, and community members; To care for our community together; To practice good social distancing and flatten the curve; We’re pledging to stay home. What does the pledge mean We’re staying home unless absolutely necessary. We’re hosting video calls with our friends to binge watch, share recipes, and home workouts. We know that staying home and doing nothing is true #adulting. We’re never changing out of our PJs. We’re ghosting as our civic duty. We know there ain’t no party like a solo party.
