Learning loss. Declining enrollment. California's public schools need a lifeline. SFUSD schools face a $125M budget deficit, $25M of which is due to declining enrollment. Our district leadership is facing difficult budget choices and our students cannot go it alone. They - like students around California - need the State’s support. Center California's students with a lifeline in the form of: 1) More funding per pupil 2) Cost of living adjustments in state funding allocations, and 3) Provide pension and benefits relief as districts grapple with declining enrollment.
