We are opposed to Defence Housing Australia (DHA) locating thousands of people at Lee Point, Darwin NT. Stage 1 of this project has already had a negative impact. If this project continues it will have a severe impact on the natural beauty, wildlife, future recreation and full tourist potential of one of Darwin’s most important natural assets – Lee Point. We believe the project's current location will not deliver any long term public benefit to the Darwin community or visitors to Darwin and there are much better housing locations available.
