It is an eyesore, a safety and security risk, an environmental disaster and a rat-filled threat to the health and well-being of the adjoining communities. “Anyone driving down Ontario Street — one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares — would be hard pressed not to notice the blight that is the former GM property. With buildings that are half-torn down and large lots filled with piles of brick and debris.
