Beginning early this year, a democratically elected bargaining committee sat down as legal equals with ownership and management to bargain a fair first contract and win the changes they deserve, changes that are about dignity and respect. Despite multiple sessions and many proposals passed from the union, they have seen little progress. Instead, ownership has opted to use delay tactics to drag out and slow roll the process.
