They're shutting safe routes to claim asylum including ending family reunion for child refugees. We know that shutting safe routes doesn't work. It doesn't stop people trying to reach the UK, it just means that they risk their lives to do so. The only way to stop the crossings is to offer safe and legal routes to claim asylum.
