Ignoring the democratically expressed will of the people would cause irreparable political damage and virtually ensure a Trump re-election. Because we support democracy and because we must defeat Trump, we call on the Democratic National Committee, all superdelegates, and all presidential candidates to publicly pledge to support the simple democratic idea that the candidate who receives the most votes in the primary must be the nominee.
