Our speaker this year will be Hamilton Nolan, labor journalist and author of The Hammer (2024) whose Substack How Things Work has over 35,000 followers interested in labor and politics. We will be honoring Yolanda Jacobs, president of AFGE Local 2883, the American Federation of Government Employees, who represents over 2,000 CDC federal government workers across the United States. Additionally, we will be honoring members of Teamsters Local 728 in their campaign to organize Amazon workers here in Atlanta.
