After a very successful Green Games Night in December, we are adding a new dimension to what was an electronic darts tournament. We have now added an opportunity to do axe throwing at Axe Junkies. Naturally its soft drinks around the axe throwing but there is a bar at The Dartside and thrown into the entry price will be a couple of slices of Pizza. If it's a warm night there will be a chance to mingle outside as well between the two arches venues with the pizza venue in between. We are expecting quite a crowd so first of all get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. the Arch rivals also next door can provide overflow and more bar time. It's a great opportunity to get to know more members activists and councillors. We are now over 520 members and over 1,400 activists and growing every week. Our aim is to have a first Green MP in Worcester at the next election. So if you can bring a friend along that will help us grow too. This program of events also helps fund our campaign which is why we offer different ticket prices to suit your pocket and leave nobody behind. A raffle is likely to feature as part of the evening too, with the opportunity to win green merchandise and great prizes. It's not about competition, but for those keen hamsters we will offer a trophy in either a dart or axe off. The good news is the electronic scoring system does all the hard work for us. If you are new and want to be introduced o people on the nght or even beforehand, please let the organiser (Jon Bodenham) know in advance or on arrival. The Venues There is only one toilet at each venue which is why we can also use The Pizza restaurant and at a push The Arch Rivals in reserve. That gives us 4 toilets. All the venues along the archway have no step access, however there is an upstairs at The Dartside which is not accessible. What you get for your ticket - We will have a list on the door so you don't need to bring your ticket. At least one hours Axre throwing or darts - usually get two games in. A free final for the top scoring players - plus a trophy 2 slices of Pizza which will be delivered to both throwing venues or can be enjoyed in the pizza resturant in between. Not funded - Drinks or side orders of food - Extra games beyond the lanes already pre-booked. Please note this event is not suitable for under 18's Parking / Cycle security Plenty of cycle hoops under the arches at the Cattlemarket carpark. Nearest car parking is Cherry Tree Walk about 50 metres from the venue behind the Jenny Lind university building. A larger car park is Cattle Market Car Park at the bottom of the Hive. That is about 80 metres from the venue. Both car parks use the Ringo App - best download and register in advance.
