As we begin the year leading up to London’s council elections, join Green Party members and supporters from across the capital for a day of talks, political discussion, training and movement building. We’ll be meeting just after the county council elections have delivered the first verdict from voters on Labour since the general election, and given us a sense of how much of a threat Reform is likely to be. Economist and activist Faiza Shaheen will be among the guest speakers joining us to analyse the situation, along with the host of the popular Macrodose podcast, James Meadway. We’ll also hear from Charlotte Minvielle, of the French Greens, Les Écologistes, on what we can learn from their experience of fighting the far right and their recent success. And of course we’ll be joined by Green members of the London Assembly Zoë Garbett, Caroline Russell and Zack Polanski to hear how the Green Party has made a difference at City Hall, and our ambitions for the future. Practical matters The afternoon part of the conference will be open to non-members of the party.
