Featuring: CHIYO: Drag King Harry Josephine Giles: Writer and performer Tabby Lamb: Playwright and poet Tigger Blaize: Actor and Vice-Chair of Equity LGBT+ Committee Victoria Elizabeth: Magician and Entertainer And more TBA! 2020 was a difficult year for workers in the creative sector, with the closure of many arts venues around the country. Trans creatives in particular have had to manage setbacks in trans rights alongside the abandonment of the arts sector by the government. Yet trans people are creating some of the most vibrant and exciting work out there. So start spreading the news! In the final event of our series of political education on trans liberation organised with Momentum, Labour Campaign for Trans Rights and the Labour Party LGBT+ Network, we will see performances from a range of incredible trans creatives, alongside trade union organisers talking about demands being made in the arts sector right now. Any extra money raised from this event will be given to an organisation providing material support for trans people.
