We're hoping for folks to leave feeling like they have a deeper, more holistic understanding of the climate crisis -- its severity and inequities, and the creative and human forces rising to answer it -- and in the end to feel energized to join the climate liberation movement. Stories and lessons from: * Queen Quet of the Gullah Geechee Nation. * Journalist Tony Bartelme of The Post and Courier * Activist and oysterman Cyrus Buffum of Friends of Gadsden Creek. * Student Emma Abrams of the Sunrise Movement. * Activist Belvin Olasov, Charleston Climate Coalition co-founder. * Marine biologist Phil Dunstan of the College of Charleston. * Engineer and photographer Jared Bramlett of the Mean High Water project. The event is being held Wednesday November 10th at the American Theater -- doors open at 6:30pm, event begins at 7.
