100% Renewable Energy in Oregon

Oregon Governor Kate Brown

Oregon can commit to 100% Renewable Energy by 2050!

All around us, we’re seeing the effects of climate change on our environment and our lives. 4,000 Oregonians lost their homes this year from an unprecedented wildfire season.

To meet the challenge of climate change we need to power our world entirely with renewable energy and fortunately we’ve already won major victories to get there! Oregon just committed to 100% clean electricity, now it's time to become a 100% renewable state: with 100% renewable transportation, buildings, and companies.

With 100 percent renewable energy, we could power our society reliably without polluting our communities or leaving environmental devastation in our wake. But to make that vision a reality, we need to demonstrate the broad  support for transitioning to a sustainable society.
