People are losing their jobs at a rate that we haven't seen before. Parents are not able to provide food for their children, let alone pay for their monthly housing. The Covid-19 epidemic is devastating the citizens of the United States and there is no end in sight. The health and economic risks are high and we need to help people where possible. The unemployment rate is at its highest level since the Great Depression and it is still climbing.
We are petitioning for Congress, the Senate and the President of the United States to implement a monthly, recurring stimulus payment of $2,000 for every U.S. Citizen over 18 years old, and an additional $500 per month per child. This monthly stimulus will not only help our economy, but will also support our citizens on an ongoing basis through this crisis. We need to get this stimulus to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. For this reason, we need to avoid any and all means testing. Make the ongoing recurring stimulus universal.

The People of the United States respectfully ask our leadership to structure legislation that will support the people during the Covid crisis and create a path forward for our citizens and economy to recover. The best way to support both the economy and people is through monthly, recurring stimulus payments of $2,000 to every American citizen of the age 18 and older and $500 for every child. These payments need to be initiated immediately and any delays will diminish the effectiveness and purpose of the above-referenced stimulus.
The unemployment rate in the United States is at the highest level since the Great Depression. The economic collapse is just beginning and we need bold action to mitigate these negative effects. Our economy needs to be infused with capital on a recurring basis. The best way to do this is to give money directly to the people. We support legislation that will grant ongoing payments to every citizen over 18 indefinitely. These payments can be raised in a time of crisis to an amount of $2,000 per month, and lowered to $1,000 per month after the crisis is over. This will add permanent stability to, not only our economy, but our people as well. This Universal Basic Income is the foundation that we use to build our strongest economy yet.
The people are petitioning for your help. Without an ongoing stimulus to the people, the Unemployment Rate will continue to rise and our economy may very well fall into a depression. The damage and destruction from this crisis will reach every citizen, in ways that we are not able to predict. We are petitioning for our government to step up and build the foundation of a new economy. Recurring, ongoing payments to every citizen of $2,000 per month for every adult, and $500 for every child through the duration of the crisis. We need to get this help to as many people as possible and as quickly as possible. For this reason we are calling for No Means Testing. Make this recurring stimulus Universal. After the crisis, still maintain a Universal Basic Income for every citizen as a birthright and as an assurance that we will never again allow a crisis destroy our economy and the lives of our citizens.
