Our multiplier is difficult to make. Our monthly Bucket is way too high.

Each and every month Verizon Wireless makes billions in pure profit, and each month, they are taking more and more of the profit away from their front line retail sales force.

We love working with customers, but the struggle to provide quality customer service and meet the demands of this new commissions structure is taking its toll. There is extensive research that shows a significant and direct correlation between front line employee compensation and job satisfaction, and the customer experience.

We want to sell with integrity, to meet the needs of our customers. But the new commission plan puts so much pressure on the retail sales force, customers will lose out, and the brand will suffer. Wells Fargo went down this path, and they were rightly criticized for sales practice misconduct. This new commission plan is setting up Verizon Wireless to be the “Wells Fargo” of the wireless industry.

We demand that Verizon pay us and allow for all connected devices, including Jet Pack, Hums, and smart watches going forward to count towards our quotas. All new and renewal sales must be paid out, like in the past.
