As audience members and donors who love live music and dance, we are very disappointed that your recent gala used recorded music instead of the live ABT orchestra. We are also saddened to learn that the orchestra earns less than industry average. We demand that you negotiate a fair contract with your musicians and we pledge that our future donations to ABT should be earmarked only for fair wages for the artists who make ABT possible – your world-class dancers and musicians.
