New York suffers from a historically low turnout rate during primaries, which has the effect of increasing the power of 'machine' politicians. It's a vicious cycle; the lower the turnout, the more narrow the focus of politicians, which further erodes trust in the system. 

Secretary Clinton can do something about this. Agree to Bernie Sanders' request for another debate in New York and show the Empire State you aren't afraid of higher voter turnout!
