Senator Kamala Harris (D-California) wants to make sure the Trump Administration does not sabotage the Special Counsel's efforts to investigate Russian interference.

So when Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein testified at the Senate Intelligence Committee, she asked him whether Special Counsel Bob Mueller will have the necessary resources & independence.

He dodged her questions again & again—so Harris (a former prosecutor) kept probing. Which angered her Republican colleagues, who tried to shut her up and told her to be "courteous."

We have seen this behavior before—women Senators being told to shut up. Elizabeth Warren was silenced on the Senate floor when she dared to criticize Jeff Sessions' confirmation.
