Net neutrality adversaries in Congress, ISPs, and Big Telecom

On June 14, the DC Circuit Court affirmed the argument of millions of Americans who support the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) authority to protect a free and open internet for all.

This is a huge legal victory for us--Daily Kos community members contributed around 2 million comments to the FCC, Congress, and the White House, in addition to key meetings with decision makers around the country.

Now, it's time for our adversaries to concede defeat.

Companies should stop trying to block, throttle, or discriminate access to the internet--the people and the court have spoken.

Congress should stop their continued effort to legislate the FCC. No legislation is needed to protect net neutrality--the FCC has the authority to make sure all Americans have access to everything the Internet has to offer.
