Tell Energizer to Stop Sending Our Jobs Overseas and Keep Wisconsin Factories Open!
Energizer Holdings
Join the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in fighting plans by Energizer to send 600 good-paying union jobs overseas and out-of-state by closing Wisconsin battery plants in Fennimore and Portage.
Many of these plant workers have dedicated their entire lives to the company, and the surrounding businesses and communities rely on these plants.
Energizer’s reckless decision comes despite the State of Wisconsin giving the company a five-year, $600,000 tax credit to create and maintain these jobs in-state. Energizer has also received more than $10 million in additional public subsidies since 1999.
Sign this petition and tell Energizer that we will not let them use our hard-earned tax dollars to outsource American jobs! When you sign this petition, trust that the Teamsters will personally deliver it to members of Energizer Holdings’ Board of Directors.

I am standing with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in demanding an end to plans by Energizer to send 600 good-paying union jobs overseas and out-of-state by closing Wisconsin battery plants in Fennimore (pop. 3,000) and Portage (pop. 10,000).
Many of these plant workers have 20, 30, and even 40 years of experience at these factories — entire lives dedicated to the company and the surrounding businesses and communities that rely on these plants.
The company’s reckless decision comes despite the State of Wisconsin giving the company a five-year, $600,000 tax credit to create and maintain these jobs in-state. Energizer has also received more than $10 million in additional public subsidies since 1999.
We will not let it use our hard-earned tax dollars to move American jobs overseas. We will always fight to protect good jobs and save our local communities.
Do not turn your back on American workers.
