#BoycottASOS for workers' rights!

Nick Beighton, CEO, ASOS

To all dear supporters and friends of the IWGB,

Please add your name to our petition to tell ASOS to uphold the rights of its delivery drivers, rather than using loopholes to have the drivers callously dismissed during a pandemic!

We hope you’re doing OK during this difficult time. As many of our usual IWGB actions are put on hold at the moment, we’re relying on digital activism to exert pressure on unscrupulous employers.

That’s why we really need as many people as possible to:

  1. Sign this petition,

  2. Share the link (tinyurl.com/asosboycott) on social media with a #BoycottASOS selfie,

  3. Tag 3 friends to do the same!

Some background info:

Dozens of IWGB members delivering parcels for ASOS have informed us that they’re suddenly facing imminent redundancy in the middle of this crisis. With the government's job retention scheme being on offer, and ASOS being a multimillion dollar company, these redundancies are easily avoidable. However, ASOS and its subcontractors have chosen to send us a clear message that they value margins over Londoners’ livelihoods and safety.

Sign and share our petition and let ASOS know you’ll #BoycottASOS until these workers’ rights are respected!

Much love and thanks,

The IWGB Couriers and Logistics Branch

ASOS LONDON DELIVERY DRIVERS SET TO LOSE JOBS ON 1st MAY!

Dear Nick Beighton, ASOS CEO,

We have heard that, in the middle of a pandemic, you have chosen to ditch your existing delivery drivers as you switch to two new providers.

ASOS should respect the drivers' basic right to continue delivering ASOS parcels. Despite claiming on Twitter and Instagram that you prioritise your staff's wellbeing during the COVID-19 crisis, you've sent a clear message that you value your profit margins more than Londoners' livelihoods.

We, the undersigned, therefore pledge to boycott ASOS until these workers' rights are respected.

Reverse your decision now to make sure these drivers can keep delivering ASOS parcels on 1st May and that they no longer face redundancy.

The drivers delivering your parcels deserve job security, especially during a crisis. Please don't let them down.

Yours sincerely,
