·       The Bozeman community believes  MNA Local #4 nurses are passionate about helping individuals and their community to improve the health and quality of life.

·     The Bozeman community understands MNA Local #4 nurses make patients their primary commitment and this includes, individual, family, group, community, and population.

·       The Bozeman community appreciates MNA Local #4 nurses care for every patient with compassion and respect, safe quality care and attention.

The Bozeman Health community asks the Bozeman Health Administrative Team to recognize the nurses are integral to the Bozeman Health’s Culture of Excellence Framework through high performance, transparent communication, and willingness to develop and learn.

The Bozeman Health community asks the Bozeman Health Administrative Team to ensure MNA Local #4 nurses at Bozeman Health can continue to provide the quality care for the Bozeman Community they serve.

The Bozeman Health Community asks the Bozeman Administrative Team work to ensure nurse support and nurse recruitment and retention are considered as part of the current collective bargaining process.

The Bozeman Health Administrative Team recognize and address the high cost of living and working in Bozeman by:

1. Make nurse recruiting a priority by providing a competitive wage scale.
2. Improve nurse retention by rewarding years of service by supporting the current fair wage and longevity scale to ensure an experienced nursing staff.
3. Recognizing and addressing the resiliency of MNA Local #4 nurses at Bozeman Health as they endure excessive call requirements, training travelers, and overall stress and burnout due to constant staff turnover.
4. Recognizing the financial strain as nurses struggle to live and work in the Bozeman community, and providing reasonable, consistent, and dependable compensation to address these cost of living concerns for the duration of the contract.

The Bozeman community understands nurses are essential in the quality patient experience and are critical to the safety and health of our community. The Bozeman community knows every nurse is a member of the Bozeman Health’s high-performance team and performance outcomes, and we ask for this recognition and consideration. As Bozeman recovers and rebounds after the pandemic, the Bozeman Community must maintain quality health care through a quality health system delivering care to the community for the health and economic vitality of the community.
