As Jews, we are painfully aware of the relationship between hateful speech and hateful consequences.

Donald Trump has demonstrated a deeply disturbing pattern of hate speech, alongside explicit calls to violence. If Trump were denouncing Jews in the same terms as he has used in denouncing Muslims, Latinos, and #BlackLivesMatter activists, would he have been invited to the annual AIPAC Policy Conference?

As Jews and as Americans, we condemn hate speech in all its forms. We are horrified by AIPAC’s invitation to Donald Trump to speak at their March conference and we call on them to withdraw it immediately.
