The tragic murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor are just two examples of the many innocent lives that have been wrongly taken due to the usage of no-knock warrants and choke holds. To prevent tragedies like this from happening in our community and begin the process of healing the wounds our community has sustained from these events, the Salisbury City Council must become leaders on police reform by passing the ordinance to ban no-knock warrants and make our city a 4th amendment sanctuary.
