Tell Congress: Donald Trump Must Remove Big Pharma's Giveaways from New NAFTA

U.S. Congress

The new NAFTA (also known as the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement) that President Donald Trump signed fails to raise wages and protect working families. It also locks in high U.S. medicine prices. Big Pharma rigged the rules: NAFTA 2.0 guarantees extended monopoly rights for pharmaceutical corporations to block generic competition. This would tie the hands of this and future Congresses to change the policies that lead to high drug prices. We can do better: NAFTA can protect working people in the United States, Canada and Mexico by ensuring the freedom to join a union and by standing up to corporate greed. We call on Congress to refuse to vote on the new NAFTA until it is fixed.
