Currently, many Americans already import less expensive prescription drugs from Canada and other countries. Why? Americans often can’t afford to pay the world’s highest prices for prescription drugs, caused by Big Pharma’s unethical, non-stop greed.
A provision stealthily tucked away in must-pass Food and Drug Administration-related legislation threatens to change that.
Because this bill — the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Safety and Landmark Advancements Act of 2022 (FDASLA) — must pass Congress in order for the FDA to continue to receive funding, Big Pharma is using this moment as an opportunity to launch a sneak attack against personal prescription drug importation.
