Congress: Reject Trump’s Billion Dollar Budget to Terrorize Immigrants.
Congress
On March 16, the Trump administration requested three billion dollars from Congress to begin funding his executive orders through September 30, 2017. Trump cannot fulfill his agenda without the funding of OUR tax dollars. Tell Congress to refuse funding towards Trump’s wall, deportation force and detention camps.
What does Trump’s $3 billion budget for the Department of Homeland Security pay for?
- $1.5 billion for the construction of new immigration detention centers
- $1.4 billion to go toward building a disastrous border wall
- $314 million for the hiring of 500 additional border patrol agents and 1,000 ICE officials to break down doors, racially profile, fabricate charges and deport immigrants
- Deporting undocumented people detained
- Housing 45,000 people in detention camps every day
Examples of abuses by agents with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency and Customs and Border Patrol have been well documented and it is to these agencies that Trump has promised more taxpayer cash and less oversight.
This administration wants dramatic cuts to every program imaginable that helps communities: assistance for housing, food, education, and a clean environment -- in order to create deportation forces that separate families and destroy communities.Sponsored by

We demand that Members of Congress reject Donald Trump's plan to force all taxpayers - including immigrants - to foot the bill of billions in cash for his white nationalist agenda of mass detention and deportation.
