Cleveland Lead Advocates for Safe Housing (CLASH) is dedicated to protecting our City's most vulnerable citizens. Each day, four children in Cleveland test positive for lead poisoning -- health crisis with a housing solution. After years of waiting for a law that would make Cleveland's rental properties lead safe before a child is ever poisoned, CLASH is mobilizing to bring a lead safe housing law to the ballot in November 2019.
To accomplish this goal, we need your help in getting Cleveland City Council to pass the proposed Lead Ordinance. Thank you for your support!

In Cleveland at least 4 children are lead poisoned each day, 28 each week, 112 each month, 1344 each year. City government this is a crisis, why don't you get it!
The current crisis in the City of Cleveland needs immediate attention. Testing is good, but testing doesn't keep children from being poisoned in the first place. Studies have shown that there are no safe lead levels. Once poisoned it is irreversible.
To save our children we have to keep them from being poisoned. We need action now! Pass the Proposed Lead Ordinance.
