Demand gender parity in the Senate’s healthcare working group

Senator Mitch McConnell

The Senate working group making critical decisions about the future of healthcare in our country is made up of 13 Republican men.

21% of the Senate—and 51% of the population of the United States—are women. And yet the committee deciding whether millions of women will lose access to healthcare has no permanent female members.

It’s only a matter of time before the GOP introduces another cruel version of Trumpcare, so we can’t let up the pressure on this. Tell the Senate Health Care Working Group that there should be equal numbers of men AND women on the committee!

There should be an equal number of men AND women on the Senate Healthcare Working Committee, to ensure both genders are represented fairly in all health care decisions and debate.
