Demand Jobs and Care in Wisconsin NOW

Senator Ron Johnson

Recent legislation has shown the necessity of social movements to bring bold demands that elected officials can take action to address. It is clear that we need a recovery package that meets the scale of Americans’ needs, no excuses and no exceptions. Working people can’t wait years for good paying jobs with benefits to come back - we need millions of these jobs now. We can’t afford to wait for Republican votes, and we can’t afford to shrink upcoming packages by a single dime.

We act in solidarity with frontline workers and Black, brown and Indigenous activists and organizers alongside progressive leaders in Congress to ensure that the massive infrastructure needed in this moment becomes law - and that we will continue to fight to make it bigger and bolder. When we invest in this kind of infrastructure, we create critically needed jobs and provide essential care - and we’ll be a step closer to building a more equitable economy that works for everyone.

At every step, Senator Ron Johnson has voted against Wisconsin’s working families. He has voted against all three stimulus checks over the last year and used political theatre to delay the passage of the American Rescue Plan. Add your name to the chorus of Wisconsin residents demanding a full investment in Jobs and Care. We have to remind out of touch elected officials like Ron Johnson what it would mean for us.
