Demand that the Treasury Department Stop Big Pharma’s Tax Dodging
U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Jack Lew
The pharmaceutical giant Gilead Sciences is weaseling out of paying its fair share of U.S. taxes by shifting billions in profits offshore to Ireland, a tax haven.
But the U.S. Treasury Department can stop this by investigating Gilead’s questionable use of a tax loophole, and if it finds wrongdoing make the corporation pay the taxes owed to U.S. taxpayers.

We urge the U.S. Treasury Department to act immediately to investigate Gilead for shifting billions of dollars in U.S. profits offshore in order to dodge taxes. If Treasury finds wrongdoing it should force Gilead to pay the nearly $10 billion in taxes it owes to American taxpayers.
