But extreme partisan gerrymandering lets political insiders and party bosses draw district lines that box out their competition and protect their own power. Gerrymandering robs voters of their right to a meaningful choice at the polls, and weakens our democracy.

We must stop this kind of political manipulation in Delaware for good. SB 27 Independent Redistricting Commission would put the people back in charge by setting up an citizen commission that prioritizes inclusive public participation, fair representation, and transparency when drawing maps.
