Voters should choose politicians -- not the other way around.

But extreme partisan gerrymandering lets political insiders and party bosses draw district lines that box out their competition and protect their own power. Gerrymandering robs voters of their right to a meaningful choice at the polls, and weakens our democracy.

This is where we draw the line: we must stop this kind of political manipulation for good. An Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission would put the people back in charge by prioritizing inclusive public participation, fair representation, and transparency when drawing maps.
