Severe processing delays from USCIS need to end NOW! DACA recipients are still in limbo and at risk of deportation!
At the end of June, over 81,000 first time DACA applicants were waiting to hear back from USCIS after applying this year. And now that DACA has been partially ended again, these 80,000 folks have been blocked from receiving protections. This is unacceptable!
For current DACA recipients, thousands of renewal requests have been backlogged, forcing DACA recipients to lose their jobs, lose the ability to support their families, and fall in danger of deportation.
