Fair Contract for Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) Box Office and Front of House Workers!

OSF Management

Until recently, negotiations with OSF management were conducted in a fair and productive manner. However, this cooperative spirit was disrupted in January when OSF management decided to hire an outside independent consultant to lead negotiations. Under the guidance of their consultant, management retracted previously agreed-upon proposals and engaged in regressive bad-faith bargaining.

OSF continues to stonewall negotiations by backtracking and rejecting vital proposals that would ensure fair treatment and safe working conditions, including:

  • Weekly minimums to guarantee stable employment and health insurance
  • Rest days to ensure workers' health and safety
  • Defined workload to provide excellent service to patrons

OSF's leaders have sent a clear message by walking back proposals and disregarding the concerns of its dedicated workforce. Box Office and Front of House workers help make this institution legendary and are vital members of our community. Please stand with us in solidarity and sign the petition to support the workers at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival!"

I stand in solidarity with the workers in the Box Office & Group Sales, and Front of House & Access Department at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF), and I'm calling on management return to good-faith negotiations and stop regressive bargaining. These workers deserve a fair and equitable contract!
