New Hampshire citizens call on Governor Christopher T. Sununu to issue an Executive Order by Jan 31st in support of the responsible development of offshore wind resources in the Gulf of Maine to benefit New Hampshire workers and communities and to lessen the impact of climate change.

The Executive Order will include:
- Directing New Hampshire public utilities to procure 800 megawatts (MW) of offshore wind, enough energy to power 400,000 homes.
- A request to the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management (BOEM) that the Gulf of Maine Task Force meet to advance the process to designate potential offshore wind lease areas.

Principles for Offshore Wind Development:
- Maximize the creation of high-quality union jobs.
- Expand domestic manufacturing with a robust supply chain.
- Deliver community benefits with attention to improving access to high-quality union jobs for displaced workers, low-income workers and black, brown, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) workers.
- Protect fisheries, wildlife and New Hampshire ecosystems from potential environmental impacts.
- Encourage regional collaboration among the New England states.
