Hold Entergy Louisiana Accountable
Louisiana Public Service Commission

We demand Power for People and our Communities!
Many Parishes are still without power, some are being told power will not be restored until the end of September.
Join us in demanding that the 5 Louisiana Public Service Commission members use their power to regulate, seek transparency and hold all state utilities accountable to the public and ratepayers.
Background:
Each Commissioner is elected for 6 year terms. In 2022, there are 2 of the 5 seats up for election, elections notoriously dominated by contributions from businesses that are directly regulated by the commission or have direct business interests that will be impacted by its decisions.
Our communities are at risk because utility companies like Entergy spend millions of dollars to influence decisions to grow their profits and compromise our safety and access to affordable and renewable energy.
Join us in demanding that all 5 Public Service Commissioners support:
A full audit and investigation of Entergy with an emphasis on storm readiness including transmission.
Customer sided resource options, including energy efficiency, and solutions like distributed generation.
All utilities must seek federal infrastructure and disaster recovery funds to strengthen our communities.

Tens of thousands of people, families and seniors from multiple parishes are without utilities following Hurricane Ida. Many are being told that they will not have gas or power until the end of the month.
The years of broken promises, under-investment in the utility infrastructure, reliance on non-sustainable resources and poor storm readiness by companies such as Entergy can no longer be ignored.
We join in demanding that you serve our communities over profit-making interests of companies like Entergy and immediately launch an investigation and management audit and provide a report to ratepayers, the public, and voters by the end of this year.
We Demand:
1) A full audit and investigation of Entergy with an emphasis on storm readiness including transmission.
2) Customer sided resource options, including energy efficiency, and solutions like distributed generation.
3) All utilities must seek federal infrastructure and disaster recovery funds to strengthen our communities.
