We are in the midst of a housing crisis. Every day, we are failing to create enough homes for those who want to take advantage of all the opportunities this state has to offer. Our friends and neighbors are a paycheck away from not having a safe place to live or raise a family. You can do something about that!

This petition is signed by everyone who supports a more inclusive housing policy that ends the legacy of racial and socio-economic segregation perpetrated by zoning regulations. We want more multi-family and affordable housing in our communities for our public sector and service workers. We want the state of Maryland to play a larger role in building public housing and using state land to build more affordable units. And we want you to stand up to counties and cities that refuse to liberalize local regulations to let new housing in.
