Justice for Ahmaud Arbery!

Governor Brian Kemp

People everywhere are mourning with Wanda Jones. Her son, Ahmaud, was gunned down by two white men who chased him while he was out jogging. "I saw my son come into the world," she said. "And seeing him leave the world, it's not something that I'll want to see ever."

For months, police have dragged their feet in the case. The killers were  charged very recently–but only after growing public outcry. We're joining Wanda to demand justice for Ahmaud.

Ahmaud Arbery, a 25 year-old Black man, was jogging when he was chased down & killed. Gregory & Travis McMichael, a white father-son duo told police they believed Ahmaud fit the profile of a suspect. No evidence supports this–but cops & DAs George Barnhill & Jackie Johnson let them walk free for months until public outcry led to their arrest.

Ahmaud Arbery’s death is a modern day lynching. We demand justice for Ahmaud & we urge you to push for swift conviction of his killers. DAs Barnhill & Johnson must also be fired for mishandling this case.
