Demand that LSG Sky Chefs at DTW give Katie her position back!
Hussein Berry, Delta Vice President, Airport Operations DTW
Following a powerful airport protest at DTW on February 14, Fox 2 Detroit interviewed airline catering worker and days after UNITE HERE Local 24 member Katie Muncy for a segment about the demonstration.
The story aired on local TV news early Sunday morning. Within days, LSG Sky Chefs demoted Katie.
Since last summer, Katie has been forced to live in a single hotel room with her husband and two teenagers because of the crisis of poverty wages and expensive health insurance in her industry. This unfair demotion will put even more financial stress on her family.
Add your name to call on Delta to demand LSG Sky Chefs give Katie her position back and make her whole with back pay.

Dear Mr. Berry:
Days after Detroit Metro Airport airline catering worker Katie Muncy was interviewed on Fox 2 Detroit about the “crisis of poverty” in her industry, catering subcontractor LSG Sky Chefs demoted her.
DTW is an important hub for Delta Air Lines. Without the labor of hundreds of workers like Katie ensuring flights take off on time and are properly stocked with food and beverages for passengers, Delta would not have enjoyed the $4.7 BILLION in net income last year alone.
I demand that Delta Air Lines take urgent action by calling on LSG to reinstate Katie to her position as Dispatcher ensure she receives back pay.
