JUNTOS HAS BEEN WORKING ALONG WITH CONCERNED COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF CHEYENNE TO MAKE SURE LCSD#1 SOUTH TRIAD IS REPRESENTED ON THE LARAMIE COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD OR TRUSTEES
Cheyenne and especially South Cheyenne are growing more and more diverse and the board should reflect that. Join us in calling on the board of trustees to hear our voices, and consider parents and educators from all over the district that support this proposal and re consider your choice and give our children true representation.
We, the undersigned residents petition that LCSD#1 board members to reconsider their vote on April 6, 2020 and allow the new language that "The board members representing each triad would be elected along with additional at-large board members needed" and to take it to a 45 day public review. It is our opinion that the parents, teachers and students in the south triad would benefit from having such representation and it would allow the school board of trustees to replicate our diversity
