Americans are getting sicker and sicker — and the billion pounds of pesticides used on hundreds of millions of U.S. acres every year play an outsized role.

Pesticides in our air, water, soil, and food harm our kids’ health. If the Trump administration is serious about making America healthy again, it must take action to protect our families from these toxic chemicals.

Sign the petition to stand up against Big Agriculture and demand bold action on dangerous pesticides.

Pesticides are making Americans sick, and we need bold action to protect the health of our kids and families:

The herbicide atrazine must be banned immediately. It’s far too toxic to continue to be used in the United States. It's so dangerous that it has been banned in more than 60 other countries, and numerous studies link it to significant health concerns, including reproductive problems. This administration and Congress must support both legislation and policy reforms to ban atrazine and break free from the United States’ chemical dependence.

The United States should ban all 85 pesticides that are already banned in other countries. If dozens of other countries can grow food without these dangerous pesticides, so can ours.

Powerful chemical industry interests should *not* be embedded in the agencies charged with protecting public health. For example, Nancy Beck, principal deputy assistant administrator overseeing the Office of Chemical Safety at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, is fighting tooth and nail against any action on pesticides and must be removed from her role. Similarly, Kailee Tracz Buller, chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, represents Big Ag interests and is fighting against progress on pesticide issues. We need people who’ll put our kids first — not the pesticide industry’s bottom line.

We need bold action to reign in the specific pesticide uses that are harming our health and the environment.

People harmed by pesticides should be able to seek justice without powerful Big Ag interests blocking their access.

We must stop pesticides from contaminating our water, food, soil and bodies.

Legislators must act in the best interests of Americans, not Big Ag interests.
